Join me as we explore specific contributors to your unique experience of overwhelm, and learn tangible physical practices to move you into a state of ease, flow, and balance. You’ll learn to manage your energy so that you’re not giving it all away, and to restructure your life in alignment with your true self.

As Athletic Trainers, most of the continuing education we invest in makes us better clinicians. But those courses don’t put you first. If there’s one thing I’ve learned in my 15+ years in this industry, it’s that we do our best work when we are feeling our best. What does my best look like? Feeling happier, energized, fulfilled, and present. What does your best look like? It’s time to find out.

this program is for you if:

  • You’ve done all the right things, but you still don’t feel satisfied with your work-life balance.

you will learn:

  • The chakra system as energetic anatomy

  • How each chakra can be seen in relation to your professional and personal life

  • Physical practices, including breathwork and meditation to help you alleviate anxiety, gain confidence, and feel empowered

  • Tools to help you manage your energy and avoid burnout

  • Prompts to help you reconnect with your true desires and highest calling

  • Tools to help you set boundaries without guilt, shame, or blame

I Will Not:

  • Tell you your chakras are “out of balance”

  • Tell you that you need to “clear your mind” in order to “be good at” meditation

  • Feed into complaints about low salaries, long hours, etc. Do they exist, and affect us negatively? Absolutely! I fully acknowledge that this is an issue in our profession. But complaining about things out of our controls keeps us feeling disempowered. Trust me - I’ve been there. In your heart, you also know that it just doesn’t feel good. In these 4 weeks, we will focus on our own personal power, and the types of choices we can make when we are connected to it.

  • Tell you that you should start your own business like me and try to upsell you on coaching. This is a standalone program meant to empower you and support you in whatever realizations you have and decisions you make.

Our roadmap:

  • 8 live 1-hour Zoom sessions over the course of 4 weeks (every Monday & Thursday from 8:30-9:30pm EST)

why i created this program:

As an Athletic Trainer, I began my career working in the D1 College setting. I often ate 3 meals a day in the Athletic Training Room, came in on my days off to treat my injured athletes, and missed friends’ weddings, birthdays, and other special occasions when my teams were in season. I never resented it - it was part of the job, and I loved my job. Over the years, I worked in other sectors (research, teaching, outpatient PT, concierge sports performance & rehab), but continued to find that I gave 100% to my patients and clients, no matter where I was. This made me a great employee and an amazing Athletic Trainer, and while I was happy with the results of my efforts, I wasn’t truly happy with my life. With more time off, when I wasn’t at work, I gave 100% to my social life - you know, the “work hard, play hard” thing. But when I had time to myself, I had to acknowledge that I was exhausted - sometimes physically, sometimes mentally, and most often, emotionally. In excelling at being a helper, a giver, a caretaker, a team mom, an ally, and an advocate, I wasn’t giving anything to myself. I’m not talking about bubble baths, shopping, and ice cream or wine “treat yo’self” time (although I did try all of those!) - I’m talking about deep, soul level self-care. When I began studying energy work, pranayama, and meditation, I gained so much clarity around practices I could use to create and enforce energetic boundaries while being the best rehab provider I could be, made a significant change for the better in my ability to maintain my own work-life balance and well-being, and let go of the constant overwhelm I had previously been feeling. I created this 4 week course in order to help other Athletic Trainers gain the same skills, so that you can navigate through your life with grace, clarity, and above all else, joy.
